About Us
Kensington Vanguard has a unique business model, a combination of both Residential and Commercial Sales with many of the largest Real Estate firms in the world. Strategic partnerships with private equity firms like Red Oak Partners, and Stone Point Capital has led to their most recent acquisition by Truist Insurance Holdings, and Bridgetrust Title Services. KV has over 300 employees nationally and growing, as their entrepreneurial business mentality continues to lead the title insurance industry.
Glenn Asher joined Kensington Vanguard in 2003 prior to the merger in 2008 with Vanguard Title in NYC. The Co-CEO’s Brian Cooper and Jarret Fein were two of the fastest growing agencies with different business models and geographical scope. KV was a nationally licensed company with a focus on large commercial transactions and lender-based refinance transactions. Vanguard, a NY licensed firm with a focus on attorney-based purchase transactions as well as commercial. Glenn Asher brought a concentration in national lender-based volume, closing hundreds of deals monthly with national mortgage banks while Brian Cooper and a few select sales people began to disrupt the commercial market, establishing themselves as a force in the title insurance industry. Most title agencies did commercial or residential, not both, setting the stage for an aggressive presence during a time of unrest in the Real Estate and Financial Industries.
Kensington Vanguard Today
Twenty-three years later Glenn Asher has become the top residential title agent in the country, closing over 4 billion in residential sales in 2021. Glenn moved to South Florida in 2016, leaving NYC and becoming the first to leave his NYC roots and expand into Miami. Maintaining his clientele, he began to disrupt a saturated territory dominated by attorney owned title agencies. Glenn used his NY connections to begin opening clients based in Miami and started his pursuit of “Top Agent” for both Stewart and Old Republic Title in South Florida. Traveling back and forth from NY to Miami for a year setting up operations and working tirelessly while maintaining his business, marriage and a newborn baby, the light of his life Mikayla Asher.
Currently Glenn employs over 20 Teammates from NY to Miami and has offices throughout the Tri-Counties of South Florida. His leading and proprietary technology, Title App, and a staff of dedicated bi-lingual experienced professionals vaulted the “TEAM” to be the top agent for both of his respective Underwriters in Florida. Glenn’s belief in operations driving sales, and dedication to seamless customer service paved the way to success while maintaining perfect compliance. Hard work is an understatement, working tirelessly to be the best, an infectious mentality worn on his sleeve like a badge of honor.
